Maintenance Specialist III - HVAC/R (PC#252121, PC#253287, PC#253288)
Position Summary: Participates in the fabrication, installation, and maintenance of manual and computer-aided mechanical or industrial electrical systems, electrical controls, ventilation, and automated and manual air conditioning, refrigeration, and heating systems. Operates environmental control systems for heating, air conditioning and handling, and interior and exterior lighting.

Salary: $24.33 - $33.11 per hour in 9 annual steps.

Hours: 8 hours/day; 5 days/week

Experience and Education
The position typically requires an Associates Degree or equivalent vocational program in Energy Management, Industrial Technology, or related field and two years of progressive experience. Training in an industrial, commercial or military setting or experience in the electrical and mechanical maintenance fields may substitute for some higher education.
Licenses and Certifications
Requires a valid Driver’s License. Requires appropriate certification in area of specialization for handling and recycling of refrigerants.
